Potato gratin

How to make a delicious, gluten and dairy free potato gratin is something I’m really excited to share with you all. Follow the recipe below to make a delicious side dish that everyone can enjoy!

All you need (please note the recipe below is for 1 person)…

  • Three large potatoes
  • Half a bag of VioLife grated cheddar
  • Half a bag of VioLife grated mozzeralla
  • 1 cup of chopped green beans
  • 1 cup of diced butternut squash
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil

How you make it…

  • Cut the large potatoes into thin slices, then place in a saucepan with salt water and boil for 5-10 minutes, based on the thickness of your slices (you want the potato to become soft)
  • Heat the oven to 180 degrees
  • Add olive oil to a baking dish, ensuring the base is covered in a thin layer
  • Add in half of the potato slices, ensuring that the the bottom of the dish is covered
  • Add in all of the chopped green beans and butternut squash and a third of the grated cheese
  • Add the remaining slices of potato to the top of the vegetables and cheese, then add the remaining cheese to the very top
  • Place in the oven and leave to cook for 30 minutes

Then enjoy your delicious potato gratin! I usually pair mine with MOR Taste pork, beetroot and apple sausages, or chicken

You can add anything to your potato gratin, spinach and broccoli are great fillings too. Let me know how you all get on!
